The book Art and the city describes the main directions and trends of development of street art from the beginning of the XX century to the present time. The publication, which saw the light in 2016, was the first book in Russian to claim a full analysis of the global phenomenon of street art, which includes in the context of the World War.
The second edition is complemented by a presentation of developments since 2016. The book also includes several monoologists from pioneers of street art scenes, drawn up on the basis of an interview taken by the author. In addition, the publication significantly expanded part about the New York graffiti scene, added a new description of border Street practices at the junction of art and activity. The chapter devoted to Russian street art is also significantly added.
